The Santa Maria Council #2829 received its Charter from the Supreme Council on April 27, 1941. The charter chaplain was Rev. Edward Biss, O.S.B. and the charter Grand Knight was E. J. Angelo. The Santa Maria Council now works closely with the St. Leo the Great Parish in Winston-Salem, NC, providing funds and man power for various parish, school, and community projects.
Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM in Conference Room A adjacent to the cry room.
