MeetingsChristian Mothers is an organized support group that offers an opportunity for mothers to gather together and share the similar demands and struggles of raising our young children. From here, very significant friendships are formed. We aim to grow both spiritually and personally through our speaker's reflections and our social time together as a group.
We meet monthly from September thru May on the second Wednesday of the month from 9:30 - 11:30AM in the Bishop Begley Parish Center and the fourth Wednesday of the month form 7:00PM - 9:00PM in the Bishop Begley Parish Center. Babysitting is available for a slight fee and refreshments are served. Throughout the year, we have weekly playgroups and a monthly Mom's night out. We also plan several activities for the church families as well. Christian Mother's Group is responsible for the Halloween carnival, Breakfast with Saint Nick, and the Easter Egg Hunt.
We invite you to join our special group of Mothers to share your joys and struggles.
Annual Events
The Halloween Carnival is a terrific evening for the children of the school and the parish. We organize an evening of fun for all.
Breakfast with St. Nick is a great way for the children to learn more about St. Nicholas and the true meaning of Christmas while having some holiday fun.
The Easter Egg Hunt is always a big hit with the children!!
Come join the fun in helping plan these great events for our children!
Other events Yearly Officers and Coordinators help to schedule monthly "Mom's Night Out" and other social events, such as the Annual Holiday Party as well as the "Year End" Party.
Outreach projects We help with the Parish Christmas and Easter Outreach programs. We organize the Sunday Church Nursery. We present First Communion gifts to those children who are receiving their First Communion. We help with the Parish New Baby medals for newly baptized parishioners.
